Shapes

Shapes are filled or outlined figures — rectangles, circles, triangles, diamonds, stars, hexagons — used for boxing sections, masking cut text, or colour-coding.

Placing shapes

Select the Shape category. Placement starts immediately with the current shape type and your first shape style, so you can draw at once:

1. Pick a shape type at the top of the left panel (remembered between sessions).
2. Pick a style — Whiteout (page-coloured, borderless, for covering cut lines) or any of your saved shape styles.
3. Drag on the page to size the shape, or just tap to drop one at a default size.

Placement stays active after each shape, so you can draw several in a row. Leave via another category or tool.

Editing shapes

Outside placement mode, tap a shape to select it. Drag its body to move, drag the corner handles to resize. The left panel then shows options for the selected shape: swap its style or delete it.

Shape styles (fill, border, opacity, corner radius) are managed in the Styles screen — see Styles.
